Jersey Boys and other fun stuff

First of all, I would like to say that the Jersey Boys full dress rehearsal was awesome! The acting and singing of the characters were really believable and I loved how the musical was able to develop the back story in detail for each of the characters for someone whom has no idea of the show at all (me). And following the performance you are expecting me to take lots of photos of something related to the Jersey boys right? Right? Well, that didn't happen. So no questions about it, alright?

Last Thursday, it was the 9th month my love and I have been together! We planned to have a picnic at Gardens By The Bay (GBTB) which TouchingNah initially thought it was weird to have a picnic there. However, I wanted to surprise her that day with these!

My love so happy!
My love actually wanted to meet me outside a shop to buy a picnic mat, but I insisted that she meet me at the lift landing. My excuse is because I'm embarrassed that other people look at my "bionic" leg. By then, my smart TouchingNah already knew something was up because she knew I wasn't a wuss and something like that wouldn't bother me LOL. She actually came to the same level to where I live and I didn't know so I had to awkwardly hide le flowers behind my back. My love was so guilty that I bought her flowers because she hinted at me. Hahahahaha. I wouldn't mind of course if it makes her happy, which she was, she can't stop smiling. In the underpass to GBTB, we couldn't halp but take some photos of ourselves because there were so many mirrors along the way!

Me with uber small eyez
Still smiling! My smiling Doraemon!
The last photo on the right was taken at where we had our picnic, in the middle of a circle field. I was kinda weird at first because there was no one around, but after while, people started sitting on the grass patch and kids were playing catching around us. #alphacouple LOL. Just as we were unpacking out food and stuff, my love actually surprised me with this!
I was like WOW!
We took out the blossoms with letters and arranged them!
Long story short, I thought we were not having blossoms due to an unexpected change of events but my love still managed to get the blossoms! I'm so proud at her effort taken to bring these blossoms. No wonder her bag so heavy la, somemore can complain to me haha. I was a really enjoyable day and we were taking photos of ourselves while we were messing around with the blossoms.

Hungry love!
Hungry love and me!

Me with my no-teeth smile, I tried!

No eyes!
God no

Angry man is hungry man!

Too many photos! After which we had Texas Chicken for dinner because it was just right infront of our faces  so we took that option. We downed the chicken quick but I savoured the biscuit. I love that crunchy goodie.
Because we loved the blossoms so much, to took to our own to make the blossoms!
Girl can't wait to see how they look like!
It wasn't exactly like what we expected them to be, but we did our best! Pictures of the results can be found at my love's instagram @TouchingNah, go stalk her!

Yesterday I had a fun day as well because I went cycling and my dad accompanied me along!
Impromptu shot of my dad
I was at first, not exactly sure of myself if I could cycle or not, but after giving it a go, I realised it was perfectly fine. There was no pressure on my ankle at all because my ankle never went pass 90 degrees and it was so much less stressful on my ankle and heel than walking. I was shocked. The moment I came home, I started researching on my road bike that I wanted to get, like a lil' kid wanting to open his present on his birthday (though I haven't been getting birthday presents since like secondary school years). Today, my dad tells me we shall go on a long ride, which makes me hyped up for tomorrow! Alright it's getting late now, I shall be turning in soon. Until the next blog post!

  1. I went to this restaurant call Pasta Fresca at Boat Quay on a night to celebrate my friend's birthday. Looks like an authentic Italian restaurant like those you would find in Italy.
